British Elements

This ‘London,’ embossed keyring aims to encapsulate the feminine side of the capital’s royal tradition by basing the design around a pretty pink background. To keep the lines soft, circles and curves are an occurring theme, the main body of the piece being an unobtrusively sized, coin like disc.

At the very centre of the circle and key (excuse the horrible pun) to the design, is the beautifully stylish, heart shaped Union Jack, which serves as the jewel in this particular crown. To give the design a sense of individuality the Union Jack has been stripped down to it’s bare elements, retaining only the blue colour and rough shape of the original motif. The traditional red, white and blue dividing lines of the flag have been replaced by the pink of the background, allowing it to blend in seamlessly with the rest of the piece.

The remaining feature of the central circle is the ‘London,’ title, set in the same silver as the surrounding ring and embossed in capital letters, similar in style to the lettering found in tube and rail stations throughout the capital.

Love Heart Chic

The use of curve and colour in the central motif of this keyring gives it a yummy, almost Love Heart look. It is like the confectionery giant has decided to celebrate this remarkable Olympic and Jubilee year with a special edition of the popular sweet.

This looks far too good to eat though, with elegant touches such as the ring of silver that subtly frames that Love Heart design. As if made especially for the Queen in this, her Diamond Jubilee year, six faux diamonds like spheres have been set around the central silver circle, providing an amazingly glamorous edge to this already prestigious piece.

Practicality

With no detail left spared, the keyring is even attached to the business end, otherwise known as the key loop, via a classic silver, pendent-esque attachment. The key loop itself is made from strong sturdy metal, a series of flat metal coils that will enable you to easily and securely slip keys on and off the key ring; which after looking glamorous is surely the most important thing.
